Social media
That article about surveillance and
omniscience got me thinking about
God knowing it all and looking after
each and every one of
our thoughts, fits and starts, wrong turns
and the very occasional right turn
He'll note with rare delight and I'm
thinking this is a very busy Guy
looking after a planetful of squirrels
and fish and elephants and people people people
He'd relax with the fish in school, all their turns
just right or left, none right or wrong, but
some unlucky. Focus on the murmuration
rather than the individual, when does the group
hear and heed the Big Signal He's sending?
It's a broadcasting business and mostly He's
watching old reruns vibrating into darkness
filling the void.
