UU Church of Palo Alto interior

Jeanette and I are Sunday tandem drivers; we seem to be most regular about riding it to church, and what draws us there more than anything else is our commitment to singing in the choir. After warmups, we all step outside before the service commences. I stepped inside the Unitarian Universalist Church of Palo Alto and snapped this picture of the handcarved "chalice" candle holder, the tree art on the back wall, and the waiting ranks of chairs for the choir. The anthem this morning was No Man is an Island, a community sentiment stated with some bombast. Didn't think about the nice connection to this project until Tuesday.
