I loaded the van some days ago, but my habits have drifted away from the sunrise side of things. Finally, this morning, I decided it was time to go sailing.
Without checking the weather report.
D'OH!
The Diversion Dam pool was glass. There was a breeze line on the lake, but unstippled water between it and the dam. I did the dam road U-turn without needing to come to a full stop, 7:08am.
On the way home, there was a tiny bit of dangle to the flags, but not enough to be certain of the direction. Could've been the wake from the parade of giant pickup trucks and SUVs hauling even bigger boats up to the lake to celebrate our Independence....
