(Jim Tighe) got up at 5:40am. The flags were hanging straight down everywhere. Even the Damn Flags were dead. Arrived around 6:40am. Greg was already there. We rigged big. 7.5 sail and Go board for me. Greg was 8?M sail. Two kiters arrived just before I launched. I blasted straight up the lake. Four reaches to the second point where the wind line was. Came back down and the lake filled in. Could have sailed the 6.0 sail and 100 Litre board easily. One other sailor showed up and when I left there were four kites out. The wind came up even more or so it looked. Got to work by 8:15am...
Steve Linane said he got "double mast high plus" air, leading a boater to exclaim "Ho my god." (How big is the mast on that kite, anyway?)
Eddy said "best winds I've seen in a while from 7:15-8:45. I left at 9 but J was still out ripping."
