My quest for the best web-based slide show framework continues. After 2012 and 2013 using Galleria, I'm moving on to Jack Moore's Colorbox and bigger-than-ever photos. Most of the more than one hundred are 1200x900px, a couple hundred kB or more, for a total of 20-some MB (which is more than my first three webhost setups even allowed). It's the new way of the world, and Colorbox loads things as you go along, so hopefully it'll work for you without uncomfortable waits.
